Manchester Metropolitan University and The Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre (UK)
The Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre (MFCIC) is the lead partner on the project and will take main responsibility for the creation of practical resources for secondary schools and post 16 students.
Manchester Metropolitan University hosts the MFCIC and the Greater Manchester Hydrogen Partnership through which this activity will be delivered in part, along with the Centre for Enterprise in the Business school and the Education Faculty.
Université de Franche-Comté (FR)
Université de Franche-Comté (UFC) leads on the alignment of Education and Industry within the project and acts as support lead on the creation of practical resources for post-16-year-olds.
UFC and Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM) act together on this project through the FR CNRS 3539 Research Federation Fuel Cell Lab (FCLAB). The FCLAB focuses its research activities on the integration, reliability and durability of fuel cell systems for mobility and stationary energy applications.
Regione Abruzzo (IT)
Regione Abruzzo is involved in the project through the participation of ARAEN, the Regional Energy Agency. In March 2019, the organisation hosted a mid-term event involving teachers, policy-makers and hydrogen experts in Pescara, in which some of the HySchools resources were shared.
ARAEN’s activities focus on a range of energy initiatives, which include promoting energy efficiency, optimising production costs, supporting research and improving the environment and air pollution control.
Università degli Studi di Perugia (IT)
Università degli Studi di Perugia (UNIPG) takes part in the HySchools project through the direct involvement of the Fuel Cell Laboratory (FCLAB), hosted by the Department of Engineering.
UNIPG is a public higher education organisation founded in 1308, making it one of the oldest universities in Europe. UNIPG is committed to developing collaborative relationships with EU and non-EU Universities, to facilitate and improve international advanced study opportunities for its students.
Patras Science Park (GR)
Patras Science Park (PSP) provides technology-based expertise in the Hydrogen Fuel Cell field.
PSP hosts and operates a Hydrogen-Fuel Cell partnership between the University of Patras, FORTH/ICE Research Centre, technology companies with strong expertise in the field, and larger end-user companies. PSP supports the growth of innovative, technology-based companies across several sectors such as ICT, biotechnology, clean energy and other industrial technologies.
Technifutur (BE)
Technifutur is the support lead on the creation of practical resources for post-16-year-olds, particularly from technology education institutions.
Technifutur is a non-profit organization that aims to provide technical training to job seekers, the workforce, the public, and schools and teachers; support local economic development; support regional SMEs with specific equipment; and support innovation in the industry (Mechatronic & Maintenance, ICT, Machining, Assembly, AutoMobility).
Université de Lorraine (FR)
Université de Lorraine leads on the development of online HFCT resources for schools and industry and acts as support lead on the creation of practical resources for secondary schools.
Having borders with three countries (Germany, Luxemburg and Belgium), the Lorraine Region naturally aims at building cross-border relationships, in particular in terms of research and teaching.
The Energy Management Agency of Maramures (RO)
The Energy Management Agency of Maramures (AMEMM) brings to the project their expertise in delivering programmes on sustainable energy to the wider community.
AMEMM was established in 2009 to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy sources at county level. It serves a wide range of target groups: local and regional authorities, citizens, homeowner associations, energy companies, students and teachers.
